What a terrific spread in the Mail! Bulgarian nation PR should put you on salary.
Well done! You and your lovely wife are very photogenic. Well, she is, and you sort of fit in as vaguely acceptable. 
Yes, LOTS of kid-related responsibilities do absorb most of my time.
My oldest, Lucas, is now 17. He has his learner's drivers license. Scary. He is on the Brentwood waterpolo team, either as goalie or striker (center forward). He's 6'-2" with a wingspan of 6'-5" which seems a little unfair for his age group. 
I'll send a short video clip of him playing and a photo or two of him.
My youngest, Calum, is now 14 and 5'-9". He plays American Football, as kicker, and sometimes, as running back. He also plays soccer on two teams, one of which I coach (Santa Monica's Boys Under 16), the other a club  team, the Los Angeles Bulls. I'll send some pics of him, too. 
My wife, Sewit ("Sir Wheat"), are blessed with and by our boys. They are kind, thoughtful, empathetic, and very smart. Since my brother points out I have none of those traits, he suggested that I should check their DNA to make sure they're mine. Thankfully, they look like my wife. 
Life is good. Not quite as  idyllic as your life in Bulgaria, but fun nevertheless.
I have a $40 bet that Trump will lose both Georgia and the Electoral College. Yes, I made the bet a couple of months ago. Oh dear! 
I am interested in you comments about how much you like teaching in China. Would you live there, if you could? Part time?
Are you on Whatsapp? I hope so. The LWC 1977 crowd have formed a Whatsapp  group and chat almost daily. You would be a stellar addition.

Not so long ago, I wrote a post for my blog called Educaring . Please do not misunderstand me. I really do believe that teachers, youth workers, parents (and indeed anyone involved with young people) all have a duty to protect children and teenagers, to keep them safe. As I argued in my previous posting, I also believe that the task of protecting children is becoming more and more difficult - almost impossible, in fact. Yes, the Internet has a lot to do with it, I am sure, but there is another problem that is hardly ever discussed.  In a nutshell, anyone who genuinely cares about children finds it very hard to imagine how evil and how subtle child molesters and pedophiles really are. On the Cards, Part 1

Getting our new Bulgarian residency cards from the Microwave Oven Woman Rejoice! Let's celebrate. Hallelujah! At long last, the Microwave Woman has given us our new Bulgarian residency cards (BRCs). As a special treat, just in case you do not know what a BRC looks like, here is my old one.  My dear wife suggested that I should "black out" certain bits, as there are lots of evil people out there on the Internet, all gathering my personal and financial details in order to swindle me or involve me in some dreadful scandal or some such nonsense. Of course, no one who reads my blog could ever do such a nasty thing!   Getting our new BRCs means that we can go ahead with our applications for our Russian visas. Then, maybe two or three weeks later, our passports will be returned to us, with new Russian visas stuck into them. Moving to Bulgaria

A lady called Betty Bradshaw recently wrote this on the Facebook Group "Moving to Bulgaria" and my replies are in italics. Sorry if this sounds thick... but what is the very first thing we need to do before buying a house in Bulgaria? Is it the visas? Is it buy a house first?
