Splish Splash, Part 2

Image
As her rather late anniversary present, my dear wife now has a jacuzzi. We have two bathrooms in Daveri, the ensuite one next to our bedroom and the large "guest bathroom". Well, the latter one was big enough for a jacuzzi. Yes, we could have settled for an ordinary bathtub, but Irena does have some back problems. It is a rather impressive thing and sits in the corner of the bathroom, where the shower is.  First Iyaylo had to do some serious work to the plumbing and the electricity supply, in order to prepare for the installation. He also had to remove the washbasin and take the foor of its hinges. Then the two chaps from the bath company in Sofia arrived in their truck. After a couple of hours, it was all finished. Tina does not seem to be impressed.

The Onion Bahjis we had as our starters were excellent and my lamb was delicious.  Irena had a Chicken Korma, as usual, and it was very good too. I supposed that I was driving quite fast, about 90 or 100 kmph, but it was a straight country road, uphill and no traffic. Suddenly, BANG! A deer was dazzled by the car’s headlights and jumped in front of our car. Well, it all happened so quickly that I did not have time to swerve. I think that the deer was probably badly injured or killed. As for the car, well, you can see the photos.  The front bumper was a mess and the number plate fell off. (I had to go back the next morning in order to find the number plate by the side of the road.) There does not seem to have been any damage to the radiator or the engine, I am glad to say, but obviously it was going to take some time to get the car repaired. This was all rather expensive. A dear deer, in fact. The repair shop in the Toyota garage in Veliko Tarnovo did a good job. They also repaired the
