Why doesn't everyone just move abroad? Part 3

Have you seen this property advertised on the YANTRA HOMES website? Not bad for 65,000 euros and it comes with more than 2000 sq metres of land. I am not sure that you really need four bedrooms, but maybe one of them could be made into a library or a study or something else. It is really nice to have some spare space and an extra bathroom or two, whenever anyone comes to stay.

Polski Trambesh is about 40 or maybe 50 kms north of Veliko Tarnovo, so you will need a car (and probably a garage). On the other hand, perhaps there is someone in the village who will sell you their garage or rent one to you or else you could use one of the outbuildings as a garage. The vendors have lavished care and attention (and money!) on this property and the swimming pool is rather nice. This property really does look like a bargain!

Recently I had quite a long chat with an old friend in the UK, who is not all happy with the situation in Dear Old Blighty (more rail strikes and air traffic control chaos). Well, if you are fed up with living in the UK, then my advice would be to find somewhere better to live!

Not so long ago, someone actually wrote a comment on my blog (yes, that does happen, usually on 30th February) and they pointed out that supermarket prices are so much lower in the UK, compared to Hong Kong. Well, maybe that is true, but even the recent interest rate rises have not done much to bring down house prices in Britain. Everything becomes more expensive, if most of your salary goes on paying a mortgage.
