Happy Holidays Part 2

Yes, we finally arrived safely in Corfu. The weather was a bit grey at first, but after a day or two is warmed up and was wonderfully and typically sunny.
That fat little dog was at a boarding kennel. She seemed to be okay and the owners of the kennel kindly sent us some photos of Tina getting lots of fuss. Taking her on holiday with us was a pain last time, so she was probably happier where she is.

Recently I had an email from an old friend who suggested that Trump will become President again in 2024. No, he will NOT be re-elected. I watched Arnie Schwarzenegger on CNN and he made a lot of sense. Arnie was saying that yes, Trump will probably win the Republican nomination, as there is no one in the Republican party that has as anywhere near as much support as he does. The anti-Trump opposition within the Republican party simply cannot unite around one effective candidate. However, Trump's supporters only make up about thirty percent of the total electorate. You cannot become president with only thirty percent.
As for Boris, he really does seem to have burned his boats with Parliament, having resigned as an MP. Partying during Covid was a dumb thing to do. Well, good riddance! I do not think that Rishi Sunak was happy with Boris hanging around after leaving No. 10.
Any other news? Vincent is supposed to be fixing our new fence while we are in Greece. We should return to Daveri and find our splendid metal fence installed.

As for Barclays, no, the money still has not arrived. The good news is that they have promised to send me a card reader. This is some sort of electronic device that can read the chip inside your debit card and it can be linked to your computer. This card reader will allow me to control my UK bank account and access it whenever I want. Well, it will be interesting to find out if this thing actually works...

Oh yes, Corfu. It is wonderful. It is a bit more developed and obviously "touristy", unlike Samothraki. Unfortunately I am NOT allowed to include any photos of Irena in her bikini. Sorry about the disappointment. Our little apartment has just about everything and it is a short walk to the sea ... and the jellyfish!

My Chinese readers will not want to know about jellyfish or swimming or any other tourist nonsense. That is because they will all want to know about the FOOD. Well, we went to an excellent Greek taverna and I had the most amazing Moussaka. The wine was good too.

Despite popular demand, here is another holiday video!
